Our vision is a work in progress. We are allowing God to lead us and take us where he wants. However, Zach’s House, would like to see the following happen within our faith community:
We would like to bring out the masterful piece of art that is trapped deep within every pre-Christian we meet.
We would like to build a healthy group of people, a mix of already Christians and those who may become Christian, to perform the mission of God here in the Mid-Cities area.
We would like to see the group God uses us to gather, to become formed in the image of Christ in every avenue of our lives.
We would like to see area congretations embrace our methods of loving those who think, live, and look different than typical church members.
We would like to specifically see three area congregations begin Zach’s House-like ministies within the next three years. These congregations should be identified by the winter of 2009.
We would like to have members of Zach’s House provide 250 volunteer hours to good works in our community each month by December 2008.
We would like to have a dynamic Christ-like presence on the Tarrant County College campus by Fall of 2008.
These are big dreams and yes, we are dreamers. The toughest of these dreams may be our desire for the group of people God uses us to gather to be formed in the image of His son. That is tough but we will struggle to succeed.
